I fond a roadkilled jackrabbit yesterday, and the poor guy only has three legs. It looks like he got hit in the pelvis, since there was no trauma anywhere else. It appeared that birds had gotten to him, since he was lighter than he should have been and it would explain the missing leg.
I am going to clean his skeleton and possibly articulate it, it depends on how crushed his pelvis is. If I can't articulate him, I will use his bones for parts in my other crafts/jewelry.
I think I might start doing this for some of the animals I find; Draw them to give them a little more memorial than I already do.

This is very graphic (not like.... bloody, though it is) It's very stylized.
I love how you 'painted' it.
Graphic in a good way, or bad? I didn't want it to be gory, just show how he looked when I found him.
