This is Bear, an Island Fox (Urocyon littoralis) at the LA Zoo. Bear has fathered a number of kits who have long since been released back to the Channel Island (Don't remember exactly what subspecies he is.) This was taken back in 2010 during the Earth Day celebration at the LA zoo.
