If these sands look familiar, they should -- it's been in quite a few of my commissions over the decades. And it will appear again soon!
I'm particularly fond of how well the style of this piece works with both the subject and the background. It's got a very fluid feel to it, much like the sands themselves.
Saeto as drawn for me before (1, 2), but this is the first colored sketch piece. Be sure to check out his gallery for more complete pieces!
