So, before I came on this deployment, my brother was working on my mom's lawnmower. And, one day, I got volunteered to go into town with him to get parts.
In response, I decided to sneak my fursuit head and paws into the truck without him knowing, and once we rolled out, I put them on much to his disdain. However, I was equally shocked when I saw the reaction fo the residents of Troutman, NC. We are, after all, in the famed Bible Belt, where anything odd is shunned and treated as satanic. Not the case here. Every time we stopped at a light, I had all kinds of people perking up and smiling, waving at me. Even had several adults and kids scrambling to the windows in their cars to see me. I was like some sort of celebrity for a bit.
And, this picture was taken while I sat in the truck outside of the local Advance Auto Parts store, waving to cars as they passed.
