I know this submission is ancient, but I was so surprised to see a Teddy Boys reference!
My Grandad was a teddy boy! He stopped when he met my Grandma because she wasn't impressed with his rough ways.

My father told me of the Teddy Boys when he was stationed in Swindon while serving in the US Air Force in the late 1950s.

Sometimes I reference real life people via my art.

My Grandad was a Boothstown Ted! They were always a bit rougher up north. Good job he ended up changing his ways!

I know this doesn't mean much coming from some rando on the internet, but seeing this made me smile (despite what's happening to poor Rupert, but he shouldn't worry! Grandad said Teddy Boys preferred to beat up Teddy Boys from their rival cities).
My Grandad has Alzheimer's and has been declining quite rapidly. Even though the Teddy Boys were a nasty bunch, it makes me smile remembering that back before the decline he was a rough and tough lad who fell so deeply for my Grandma that he was willing to change completely for the better for her. They were together until her death.

Anyway I'm sorry, you didn't come here for my life's story haha...

Would be nice if Freddy and Ferdie Fox mended their ways. It also would be nice if Mr. Bear had more father/son interactions with Rupert, including hugs, ditto with Podgy and Cedric.
