Get it? Sneak beak? Sneak peak? *sad trombone*

Anyways, normally I feel weird posting WIP pictures as I feel like my work is getting negatively judged before completion.

For those in the know, this is going to be a Phoenix or Firebird fursuit mask I am making out of leftover materials I have around to give some purpose to a bunch of scrap fabrics and furs I have around. I want to thank my friend Lithe-fider over on DeviantART for advice on how to make the beak, which is made in the plastic canvas then with foamies for strength and finally the beak itself is created in layers of paper mache' using moisture resistant wallpaper paste. Painted up and sealed with spray varnish with an extra shine!

The beak opens and closes, I just need to attach some springs on the hinges and cast the big eyes then of course begin the foam shaping on the face and head and then laying on the fur!

This is not a personal head and will become available for purchase upon completion! Buyer will have the choice of buying just the head or for a added fee any add-ons they wish such as arm wings, a tail, or even a full or partial suit even!
