Lol, no. Not really.
On the left is :usernamejaki-kun:'s pokemon trainer Faust. He's a reporter from the Sinnoh Daily. He's not much of a battler - his parents forbade him to go out adventuring on his own. said it wasn't safe for a child that age to be wandering alone in the world. So they sent him through school and paid for all of his tuition until he got a job for the local paper where he writes mostly fluff pieces and editorials and checks and organized the mail.

On the right is my trainer-sona, Karis Reaver. She's a Champion, having defeated the Kanto, Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh League Challenges. But she prefers Contests and breeding over battling all in all, and has top marks in those, too. She went all the way to the top and became quite the celebrity before a terrible accident occurred in Lillycove.
