only ants are safe sour taste insect that safe to eat and can be used as vinegar but the other bugs with sour taste may cause irritate.
Do they tasty...hmm..in my opinion they are just soso...
cricket,wasp and grasshopper are tasteless and crispy.
ant's eggs have sweet taste.
cockchafer beetler family have some bitter taste,nutty and oily.
beetle larvaes taste like...err...walnut but softer.
every bugs must store in can or box for 1-2 days to let them defecate before cooking or every bug got bitter taste.
