Oh trust me, that wasn't why she was a bitch. She was just a complete bitch, even to Rainbow Dash in the end.

if she was just always a bitch, forever, even before this, then why the hell would dash JUST NOW abandon her? why would they have even been friends if she was always a cunt? that makes no sense. if she had acted like this all the goddamn time, she wouldnt have been friends with dash. dash even SAID IN THE EPISODE "this isnt how i thought my old friend would treat my new friends"

gilda showed three major signs that dash didn't heed: possessiveness, paranoia, and hostility to protect her ego. dash never once even acted upon herself to find out what the fuck was going on. and what things can you do to make all of that worse? have someone force yourself between you and your friend, have pranks pulled upon you (albeit misguided), and embarrass them. Gilda may be rough around the edges, but she was totally and absolutely the victim in this episode, and the whole fucking episode flies in the face of what the show is supposed to be about.
