I must say, personally I'm not a fan of the older tmnt series. My friend introduced the 2012 one to me and I really liked it, but I've tried to watch the others and there are a lot of little things that bug me. I'm not a true fan because of this, but I must say that I LOVE the 2012/13 series.
Yeah, I can see how it is childish. Personality I enjoy the naivety of it, just because they are more like teenagers than the other ones, but it is definitely more toned down.
