Gank Combat System: Items


Weapons
Cutlass: The cutlass is the defining pirate sword, with a slight curve and broad side, designed to strike quickly and efficiently.
+5 Sharp Attack Modifier
-10 Gold

Powder Pistol: A ranged attack only really in theory, the powder-filled pistol is nevertheless a potent weapon in close quarters, or with a bit of luck.
+10 Range Attack Modifier, -10 every additional 10 feet of distance.
-Integrity Damage dependent on Ammunition.
-Requires two full Complex Actions to reload: one to add powder and the other to add a round.
-20 Gold

Bodger Balls: Normal ammunition for powder pistols.
-Deal a maximum of 5 points of Integrity damage.
-1 Gold per 10 rounds


Armor
Common Leathers: Beit a Leather Jacket, Leather Vest, or Leather Corset, two hides will always be better than one.
+10 Armor Defense Modifier
-Chest Article
-10 Gold

Tight Shirt: Sometimes the most eye-turning fashion is the least amount of fashion possible.
+5 Seduce Modifier
-Chest Article

Leather Bracer: A protective strap of stuff for your pansy wrists.

Trousers: Pants. If you’re the type that’s interested in them.
+Being allowed into reputable homes and businesses

Leather Belt: If you’re gonna wear pants, then you might as well keep them up.

Bandana: For people who can’t afford hats, but still want to keep their hair dry.
+Keeps your hair dry. Sometimes.

Potions
Basic Restoration Potion: A disgusting concoction of unmentionable putrid expulsions from bizarre creatures, a couple of which appear to still be living inside the bottle.
+Restore 3 Integrity Points or Remove 3 Injury Points
-Comes with Glass Bottle
-20 Gold


Books and Scrolls
Firebolt: Cast a Firebolt Spell
-1 Content Point. Every content point requires one minute of reading for literate characters.
-0 Content Points for characters that have learned Firebolt.
-Casting this spell does not use a Skill Point.
-Can only be cast by spellcasters that have learned Firebolt or 3 other spells.

Layman’s Firebolt: Cast a Firebolt Spell.
-1 Content Point. Every content point requires one minute of reading for literate characters.
-0 Content Points for characters that have learned Firebolt.
-Any character can cast this spell.
-Casting this spell uses 1 Skill Point.

Book - Let’s Learn to Read! with Crackerjack: Everybody’s favorite, and only, educational pirate parrot Crackerjack introduces the wide world of words through fun games, colorful pictures, and a mouthful of crackers.
-1 Content Point. Every content point requires one minute of reading for literate characters.
-After reading, character gains the Literacy Attribute.
-This book can be read by illiterate characters in one week.


Trade:
Flamango Fruit: A soft, juicy pink fruit the size of a Mango. Flamangos have a sweet taste reminiscent of strawberry cream and a sharp, but pleasant, citrus smell.
+Restore 1 Integrity Point.
-Juice will dye skin, fur, feather, scale, and other natural objects it touches pink.
-If made a regular part of a character’s diet their entire body will turn pink and their body odor will smell of citrus. Flamangos will replace the odor of stink spray.
-5 Gold per bushel of 20

Smoking Pipe: All the fun of an unhealthy vice in a convenient traveling size.
-1 Gold


The Gank Combat System is still in the earliest stages of testing, so a lot of this may change in the dead of any given night.
