Childhood to start of his rule:
Only child of the king of Vangar, Mother was assassinated during child birth with it being faked for the most part as a death by child birth but during Thass's childhood he found some small bits on who did it by servants that he made friends as well the starting of his skills in magic. Jillian was his first friend that wasn't a servant but was a prisoner because of the outlaw of the use of magic.
Shortly after making friends with Jillian, Thass makes an effort to save Jillian with the king dying during this incident which leads to the trial and execution of the first queen and later declaration of the third queen, Lady Victoria, as the ruler and his mother.
During the Lady Victoria's rule, Thass had more freedoms to go outside of his home and make friends with other locals in Vangar and do more things with Jillian. He also was forced to stay away from the nobles and study manners as well tactical fighting at home by Victoria orders.
Using his talent he learn from friends and and hard studying he decided to start a revolution which was vastly successful. When it came time to deal with the nobles and Victoria, Victoria was locked up in her room to prevent for a time a invasion my other city states as stated in an agreement between cities of sending punishment if any leader is killed during a transition of power. When looking into information on the Nobles of Vangar oddly neatly organized was papers on Victoria's throne with information on ever noble in Vangar and some around the Tal States of legal punishable charges with locations, physical evidence, and witnesses making Thass's transition to power much easier.

facts:
-Thass's father's side of the family never married the same breed of dog anthro
-Though Thass knows illusion magic he avoids using it most of the time, mostly to accept civilian law though he is still a outlaw compared to the rest of the kingdoms. But still plays with Jillian using magic in secret.
-Thass's favorite place to go is the small isles in Lake Castle where if the sun or moon shines on the lake just right the Island is hidden from the rest of the world
