Guess who came home with us?
We ended up bringing the dogs home to their family at long last! And while we were dropping the dog food off at the shelter as a donation (and secret thanks for the help they gave in locating the family~) we saw this girly among the cats. She wasn't a kitten, wasn't 'what we were looking for' and wasn't perfect weight but she reached out and touched our hearts. She'd been at the shelter 30 days and was destined for euthanasia. The moment we took her out she sat on our laps and head-bonked us and laid her head on my chest. She said quite clearly, 'I'm a good cat and I don't belong here! I need love!' and we obliged.
She is six years old, overweight and will need help in slimming down, but otherwise she looks to be in good health. We're going to get her in to see our vet and in the meantime just let her be the little cuddlebug she is. c:
We think she looks like two cats put together; a black and an orange tabby. Her little galaxy swirls and stripes on her just makes her more stellar~ So, welcome to our family Stella! <3

yeah~ I've had a cat-shaped hole in my heart since my kitty passed in December, but now I feel more alive again. ;w; Thankfully Stella doesn't look like Ollie at all so there's not the same correlation, but I did almost cry at the shelter when she put her head on my chest and told me to take her home. ;w;
