Bad as in GOOD!
In the book the Thin [Grey] Line (one of the book's I'm writing in A Chronicle of End series), one of the main character's, a soldier in what's called the Guardian Program, a white list project by the Soviet Union back in 72' which center's around a "god mod" weapon system, is given the opportunity to claim an alias. Most aliases are coded from world mythology, and the one that the book focuses around is the one that works with the Guardian 4's pilot (The original man who once darned my name.), and the division is Egyptian coded. The soldier considers the task very important and thus looks through every unused name. Non stick out, until one day he's helping move documents around and stumbles across a decommissioned alias from a dead soldier by the name of Trisha Mettalmann. Hers was Anubis. The alias claims the soldiers soul and activates something almost inhuman about him (which is later described to actually be true). It turns him into Jack Anabis, a soldier not unlike Rambo, but much more psychologically damaged.
The book rather turns sad, and Jack becomes a legend. He is remembered for darning the JG2 Anubis Assault System , two short machetes named Dobrý, and Zlý, and a broken Ankh necklace. As his mind deteriorated towards the end he became more and more of a killing machine and would often recite passages of Anubis' rituals of him delivering souls to Osiris from the Book of the Dead. Least before he was sealed in a maximum security cell aboard the Battalion's ship, the Oblivion's Edge in 1986.
