Probably my favorite piece from my entire college career, although certainly not my best.
This little 'dillo is fired to cone 10 and glazed with a high fire crackle that I formulated myself. It was a test piece for my Glaze Calc. class that turned out suprisingly well.
I honestly expected my glaze reciepe to bomb, but I guess the months of trials and tests paid off.
Sorry for the crappy picture. It's the only one I took before it went on display at school and someone broke the lid.

Actually, I formulated that glaze. I'll have to dig for it though... it's probably lost among the glaze calc notes and papers. I'll try to find it, but I must forewarn... the glaze only achieves that crawl at cone 10 and if you put it on undersides (IE outsides of bowls) it peels off and leaves a curled scale appearance. Gravity is a bitch on a glaze this thick.
