There's one person in your life that you can coin for a huge influence on a lot of your life. My mother happens to be one of them. Cherish those moments with your family, cherish them as if it's your last with them. You never know exactly what fate has in store for people.

You never know when one day it'll just take them away from you, leaving you open and vulnerable, out in the world on your own, being thrown around by your surviving family... the people who you think could understand you, but turns out that they really don't and they think they want to dictate your life.

But I digress. My mother was such an astounding person. She was honestly the only thing that held our family together, and god did she have such great taste in music. Honestly, if she didn't, I probably wouldn't've been so active in how well I try to extend my reaches in music, nor would I have probably taken a look at some of the artists I revere today as my favourites.

And believe me, this is one of the hardest days of my life, the first of the third, anyways. One more in July, one more in August... and then the cycle repeats again and again. It gets easier with time, I know that around this time years prior I wouldn't have been so up there and all... but... yeah.

2007 was a long ways away, y'know.
