I didn't feel much like going to bed at 12 tonight, so I stayed up just one more hour and painted a landscape for myself.
I spent most of this painting fiddling with various brush settings to try and imitate real paintbrush textures and achieve a truly painterly look, and I think it came out fairly well!
I am still figuring out how to best imitate a palette knife, though~

oh..my..gawd...i feel your pain ~, having to go in and actually do all the detailing, its like whay cant we just find a brush that does it all in one swing!....like..the pallet knife!! lol XD but then again, sometimes you learn stuff when going in up close and personal with the details, sometimes lol
