The best description of this though, comes from  hirshin :
"Right now here expressed of DH & Ryan, that Ryan is trying to get the fish from DH's hands. It feels though that, let me go on a weird about way, that this is a screenshot of Dragonhead's video-game sidescrolling platformer "It's My PHISH!"™. If an enemy comes near DH(here Ryan), he has a button mashing struggle against the foe. If DH wins, then he pushed back but the enemy keeps going at him. Ryan in this case feels like an zombie-robot AI that just chases DH's general direction, only having a chasing animation all the time.

When separating the two characters, DH & Ryan are fine by themselves. But together, no. Foot to face, Ryan's face should be smushed slightly against the foot. Ryan's arm targeting relating to the fish is at the very end of the tail(I don't think he can steal it away like that). And finally, the body angle Ryan, like the video game I've given, he's entirely sideways. DH's foot should dictate where Ryan's approach is: The foot faces South-East, Ryan should angle North-West; if the foot faces West, Ryan angles east."
