I immediately thought of pan's labyrinth when I saw her in your comic. And was thoroughly creeped out. Ugh. That monster in the movie was the scariest part ;^;

I love this design but I can't help but wonder what her "face" looks like behind the hands

Given that the leader of the "Nightmare" clan doesn't technically have a face but more suits that look like them, I'm guessing possibly no face, or at least no skin/fur over muscle

If she doesn't have a face behind those hands, you will be my favorite person ever. EVER. Because oh god so awesome. I love characters like this so much. Creative and unreal are so fun to think about.

i like her :D honestly i love to see original character designs or ones that you don't see often like my conjoined twins or say characters like this girl. this character i find really awesome and the fact that her face is just hands makes it all the more interesting to see her more and see how she deals with multi tasking

actually a question just struck me. if used the 4 hands with no eyes to hold objects, does that mean her mouth is full?

Honestly, when I first saw this character in the comic, I was sitting back some so I didn't see all of the lines on the character really well. I finished reading and clicked to another site and then thought "Wait.. How was that character designed?" I go back and give a good once over, realized the eyes ears and mouth for her 'face' was made of two different sets of hands with her ears being thumbs on those upper ones. I stared for a good long time and.. just didn't know what to think! It was really odd and mind twisting for me, which is a good thing! I could guess the reference for her mouth though, which made me chuckle. It is a very interesting character design you have here! Though... Does she ever put her 'hands' down? >_> And if she does.. is that hood empty? o.o

i would think there is a head of some kind, just featureless. i mean she needs to put her brain somewhere

Probably the same way the headless monks from Doctor Who keep their hoods staying up. :P

But seriously, I'd guess either a magical force field, or maybe her hair grows out where her neck would be and it's woven tight enough to create a solid upright pillar that holds it up, with an unwoven tuft at the end which can be seen in the picture, or it could be something else entirely.

The hands for eyes says 'pan's labyrinth', unmistakeably more than anything else (And yes I see that in the description).

I absolutely love the design and her attitude so far. I really hope she sticks around. I am sure she is probably a pain to draw, but I adore her so far.
