She recently has shown up in my webcomic, but I figured I'd post the prototype sketch of the wickety wackety character.
She's a mythos/cubi from the Nightmare clan (Kishta). Her "headwings" are actually the little featherfluffs attached near the base of her 'earthumbs". Yeah, she pretty much talked via the mouth-hands. I guess inspiration wise she was part Labyrinth, part Pan's Labyrinth, and part Aaah! Real Monsters.
I'm not really sure if she'll show up too much past this current story-arch, but I had a lot of fun with the design so I figured I'd share the sketch. Even though blarughar....my sketches look like blarf.

And this character is definitely scary. Nightmare clan is right!
Very cool design, though. <3

Very interesting idea.
Truly, you keep creating the most fascinating characters. Thank you for sharing them with us ^_^
That said, very awesome design
"What do you mean, help? We *are* helping!"
"We're Helping Hands!"
But seriously, I'd guess either a magical force field, or maybe her hair grows out where her neck would be and it's woven tight enough to create a solid upright pillar that holds it up, with an unwoven tuft at the end which can be seen in the picture, or it could be something else entirely.
