What stuffed animal is Hector carrying?

it's a stuffed lynx, when he was in the prime of his life as a hunter/ranger he had a red lynx named Euripides. He's long dead now but Hector has a stuffed animal that looks like him now.

What's with the toothbrush along with the plushie though? "Brushie brushie" ? :p

i figured this setting would be a kind of "sleepover with our characters" type thing so i wanted to hammer home hector was in pajamas :p

Funny you should mention cadmium, it was one of those things that we as artists were warned of quite vehemently especially in 3d illustration and 3d design where we were advised against using certain pre-painted metals (bicycle parts for example) in conjunction with a saw and/or welding/soldering. As the paint was very likely to have cadmium in it. We also worked with cadmium red and cadmium yellow oil paints, which you guessed it, were still made with actual cadmium. A student found out the hard way several years back not to put his paint box next to the raidiator. He survived the fire but not the cadmium inhalation which killed him a few days later via heavy metal cadmium poisoning.

Cadmium also earns a rightful place in both editions of my book on poisons as a toxic heavy metal right alongside lead.
