My new guitar
I have this problem where I go into music stores and fall in love with guitars
it happened 3 years ago with my pink guitar named Rosie
XD; i'm not that good at guitar yet since i haven't had time to practice but i know a good number of basic chords, so playing easy songs isn' as difficult as i thought it would be when I was ten.
but yeah! This is my new baby, Ferdinand. He is beautiful and we make music babies together!

The Ovation company is based in Connecticut, but they do their manufacturing in China and Korea. It's not a bad thing, the asians will produce products to pretty much any specification and quality level these days.

I have a really similar one, but mine's red! (and an Applause, and it's super slim, I dunno if yours is thin or not, haha) I love it to death, it sounds better than guitars 4 or 5 times the price I paid!! And it's been with me all around the world, even to Australia! If you ever plan to travel with it, the hard flight cases Ovation sells are fantastic and 100% worth the price. The only thing that sucks with mine is that the built-in pickup is useless (sounds horrible). I really like the blue color, and you should practice more!! ;D
Oh, what strings do you have on it? I would totally suggest Elixir if you don't already have them on there- they last FOREVER, and the nanoweb coating makes them super smooth and comfortable to play!

Oh my god, I know exactly what you mean. A few years back I walked into music store near my cottage and instantly fell in love with an electric guitar that had a sunburst colouring to it. Suffice to say, I played it for about two months, broke a string, then never bothered to get a new one... I should probably do that...
