i had this idea in my head for the last few days, ever since I killed pyrite i wanted to show what these two looked like as humans. It also gives you a good idea of just how ill-suited Pyrite was for what she was doing.

Pyrite always wanted to be important, or rather more useful. She was not content to be a simple lap pet she envied above all else the militaristic 299 and his ilk. And finally when the opportunity arises she leapt at the chance. It is perhaps merciful despite her wicked actions that she was not made aware of her impending demise. She died living her dream sad as it may be, and in her death she served to save one who nearly died by her own hand.
