The Bat's Day 'Hawk

I tried for goth… and fell into a punkish sort of pirate thing.
Oops.
I really liked this costume: comfortable, functional (I could jump around and climb on stuff), and badass. Not too hot/too cool either. It was a cloudy day with gusting wind, and I had just that light shirt on over a tank top. The utility belt I picked up at the Black Market on Saturday and it was PERFECT. It carried my wallet/keys/phone + Dafydd easily, and looked cool to boot.
The only disadvantage is that the hair took about an hour to put up. But worth it, I think.

But the hawk still needs a little bit of work. =S
But, since I'm going to be keeping this do for a while, practice makes perfect, yeah?
Now I'm jealous, wish I could have a hawk again....
But bluh my boss would kill me. XD
I would say try a few different products, see what works best for your hair.
Maybe a funny thing about my hair is when I dye it it becomes soft but thrum.
And I can put it up with almost no extra products. XD
I have naturally curly hair, so I've been using tons of gel and layers and layers AND LAYERS of super-strong hairspray. X'D
Maybe try some hair-shampoo-stuff or some thing, I know its out there but I have no clue if it really works.
Or even as a last option one of them electric hair straightens-clamp-thing-a-magics, but would use that as a last option. (not sure how you call it) XD
Also don't wash your hair with shampoo to mush, your hair will became firm because of the grease that will stay in it.
And that's all I can think off =S.
Curly hair is not the easy's to work with.

For some reason, the makeup vaguely reminds me of something that I can't pin down at ALL. Don't you hate it when that happens?
