Oddisyn advised me to give Paint Tool Sai a try. I had been using Sumo Paint up till now. I do like the features in Sai though. It's just going to take some time getting used to everything. This is pretty good for a first practice piece with a new program in my opinion.
I cropped the original doodle of her in half & then made the accent of her cat hat as the lower half. I really liked how this concept turned out & am glad I thought of it.
