Little birthday drawing for myself 'cause I couldn't sleep. =)
Samson suggested the idea of characters representing a trinity, and I realized that my characters sort of do match up to those aspects of me! So pictured here are:
Mind: Nyxis the Bat. She's easily the most competitive and disciplined of my characters. In a one-on-one fight with any of the others she would probably win too!
Body: Tazzle the Thylacine. She's been through a lot of wear and tear during her laboratory days as an experimental specimen, but she's got such an energetic personality about her now, you'd always think she were this carefree.
Soul: Wing the Kitsune. Always cheerful and bright, Wing can be an optimist when many others can't.
And just because it didn't seem complete without them,
The beginning: Rainbow the Unicorn. First character who I ever made to represent myself <3
The end: Lyrit the Wolf. She's just the blue ambiance near the edges because putting her face in the background did not work as well as I imagined it would, but she's there. The imagery works because she's more of a demi-god or spirit than mortal person, and she appears in most of my stories disguised as a side-character or someone relatively unimportant to the plot to voice my thoughts.

The artwork in your piece caught my attention (I wish *I* could draw nearly so well, sleeplessness or otherwise). Introspection and sympathetic introspection always interest me, and I'm fascinated with the way you've embodied or associated the traits you have with your characters. (Yes, I'll get around to writing up the descriptions of my own chracters, I'm just very tired ATM).

Oh I have so many names! LOL (Mostly from online games) Like yourself I have my characters to embody parts of my personality, but in my case just two: Sebastian and Michael. Sebastian is my more playful (or naughty) side, but he's somewhat irresponsible. Michael is my more professional, thoughtful and sensitive side, though he's withdrawn and easily depressed. I go by "Sebastian" when I'm communicating with most of the furry community because I'm usually more playful when I'm with them, though it causes confusion because I tend to think of my animal type as a foxaroo, and that's Michael. Looking back at our communications thus far I'm thinking that my more intellectual side will be applied when I'm posting to you, so yes please feel free to call me Michael. :)
