Last year, my hometown of Brockton, MA got a really neat statue of the former boxing champ and Brockton native Rocky Marciano. He gave my hometown its known heritage of boxing, and this is why the city's high school (where this statue is located near) has a boxer dog as their mascot (appropriately named Rocky), and the Brockton Rox has their boxing kangaroo mascot, K-O!
Even though K-O is from Australia, he has always enjoyed boxing and has known about Rocky Marciano for years. So today when we did a fighting-against-cancer walk that started at the school, we couldn't resist taking this photo! I think it looks really good!
