I personally think that growing abilities are one of the best and most useful powers!
I mean there is hardly any need for a fight in some cases: all Mahal has do to do is grow to the right size and then... well, I guess you all saw right? :-D
NOTE: I'm not sure about Justice wolf and Wolf Moon powers origin (I mean if they could be considered mutants from a genetic point) however I do remember reading in a comic that the Sentinels in an alternate history timeline destroyed not only the mutants but super powered being not mutants. So I guess that if Sentinels eventually found JW and WM the would attempt to destroy or capture them.
Not sure abotu how we ended up in the Marvel's world; wonder if we will meet the X Men! :-D
