Actually, these characters are even older. We used them two years earlier on the Mighty Mouse TV show.

I remember the cartoon show xD used to watch it on saturday mondays.

I remember a Mighty Mouse comic from around the late 80's. They were doing a send-up of DC's "Crisis on Infinite Earths" crossover, which I think DC used to bring down the curtain on the Silver Age. The cover was a duplicate of one from that series, which showed a crying Superman holding the dead body of Supergirl, only it had a crying Mighty Mouse holding the dead body of female version of himself from another dimension.

Only found the one issue, never did see anymore of that title.

Holy shnikeis! Bat Bat & Tick, the Bu8g Wonder were my favorite characters from the old Bakshi series. Awesome!

DC Comics came out with an Emperor Penguin that took over Classic Penguin's organization (and looks like Macklemore!) It didn't last very long. Since the books are all 90's grim and gritty he's now some sort of mutant.
