in case you don't know what anhedonia is- it's an inability to take pleasure from activities that you normally enjoy.

yusshhshshshh I'm trying to improve my very poor skills at backgrounds and realism (semi-realism should I say). It's a lot of fun! I had a dream a few nights ago that I went for a long bagpacking trip with my boyfriend. it's actually something I wish we'd do one day, maybe even this summer- to pack as little as possible and go on foot to a nice faraway place <3 like, to walk the 130km that separates our town from the sea. it'd be so AWESOME. in my dream we found a small cave up a hill and decided to spend a night there. we started a campfire and cooked a nice supper for ourselves! I loved the idea so much I decided I want to try and paint the sight. what you can see here is actually very far from the actual scene that'd shown up in my head (especially because Ikki wasn't an anthropomorphic wolf there!), but it's close enough I guess. and some fresh experience in digital painting was very needed for me.
