this is my tora-ge akita inu character called Tsuwamono. some time ago my boyfriend asked me to draw one of my characters anthropomorphed, walking in snowstorm, and I wasn't sure whether to pick a longhaired brown tabby Warriors OC called Lasthope, a grey-and-white longhaired tom Stormthroat, or this guy. I chose Tsu, because my love doesn't really like cats.
I made some sketches on paper and mixed two of them into this position you see here. at first I planned to give him normal, western clothes, then I thought of Japanese outwear, and finally I decided to portray him naked, as I like anthros best. their body built is too rad to cover it up, and they do have that fur for a reason, don't they? plus, I couldn't resist drawing the brindle markings <3
