Born in Europe, Hohenheim's childhood was never fully investigated, but soon he came to Japan, carrying a strange letter of recommendation. He quickly joined the emperor's army and soon gathered a small amount of special soldiers, some of them trained in the arts of ninjutsu to some degree and created the japanese division of the Assassin's Creed. Although tall and bulky, he is surprisingly stealthy and can easily climb tall buildings without making a single sound. Armed with a katana and a nodachi, he also uses kunais, shurikens and other kinds of throwing knifes to perform his assassinations, not to mention the old and reliable hidden blade in his right hand. He also carry a paper umbrella for missions under daylight, actually concealing a sword inside which can be unsheathed without even being noticed.
