This is a very special trilogy of pictures I would like to do for everyone, of three OCs. These OCs belong to three artists who have a very profound influence on my own artwork and greatly inspire me to learn and improve upon what I love doing. All three of them deserve a lot of praise and attention, so please don't hesitate to look at what they have to offer!

(Note that if you're not included in this trilogy, it doesn't mean I dislike you or that you're not important to me. These are just the three that come instantly to mind when I speak about my personal journey in artistry where I am at right now. There might actually be a fourth OC added to this in retrospect, so stay tuned for it!)

Flay the blue dragon is the OC of flay667 at DeviantArt.com and the main character of his ongoing comic "Born to be a Hero." This drawing as been a very long time coming, because out of all the artists in the world, I really feel like I have the most parallels to Flay667. See, we both started our DeviantArt accounts and our comics at around the same time. Both of us were brand new to the idea of doing comics and were still beginning to learn all that digital artwork had to offer. When I see his art now and look back on where he started out... it absolutely amazes me.

I knew from the start he had a raw, natural talent for storytelling and artwork, but the rate at which his talent has grown is astronomical. I genuinely consider him to be an incredible artist now, and it has been so wonderful to learn and grow alongside him. But that's really not all. Flay is also a wonderful person. Whenever I speak with him he always responds with a kind, gentle nature that makes me very happy to know him. We've had a couple of small misunderstandings along the way, but I honestly consider him to be a good friend. Thank you for everything and please never stop your beautiful artwork!
