Here's a project I'm working on that I'm hopeful for. It'll be a bracer to cover your arm. It's got a scale pattern cut through (the same pattern I worked out for use on bracelets). The idea is that when I form it I'll pinch and fold the scales so they poke outwards from the surface. Let's see if it works!

Cut (with a computer-controlled laser cutter) from a piece of 7-9 oz vegetable-tanned leather. It's got a coat of stain in it, but I ended up needing to clean some scorch marks off after dying it, and a lot of the dye came off. So I'll be giving it another coat of green before I finish.
