From what I've seen people just make duct tape patterns on the ears as well and then either sew it to the rest of the face's fur or they hot glue it to the head D: Wish I could help more!

I'm not talking about furring the ears themselves, but allowing them to pass through the fur that is made for the head already.

Oh I see. I think you may just need to cut holes in the fur you've already cut =\ I cant really see any other appropriate way of gettign them on there

Yah, trying to figure out how to find the right dimensions to do that by painstakingly measuring the head and transferring it to a pattern that I will then put on the fur to cut out.

Why not sort of trace the bottom, flat part of the ear onto a pattern and then cut that shape from the head fur?

Kinda doing that... but instead of ripping the ear off, I'm measuring around it with a few key points that match on the fur.

I never heard of anyone attaching their ears with magnets. >.>
But yea normally you just attach it and do the DTD with the head when the ears are on so you just sew the ears at the seam to the head fur pattern.
