Jareth is a young member of Clan Dimanika, the clan of confusion. His parents are a former Angel adventurer and a succubus clown with a traveling circus: both are currently instructors at SAIA, the Succubi And Incubi Academy. Jareth (or Jay, to his friends), alternates between teaching self-defense classes at the Academy and traveling the world adventuring, assuming an identity for a number of years and then "disappearing" to start over. Among past disguises, he has worked as a member of an order of Assassins his father once belonged to and as a pirate. His clan marking is on the inside of his left forearm, and he usually hides it with an armband or vambrace. Oddly for a Cubi, his magical abilities are fairly weak: in battle, he relies on a combination of misdirection and purely physical combat. As a member of Clan Dimanika, his emotional affinity is "confusion," something that he tends to cause wherever he goes, either in a fight or simply switching between incredibly odd conversation topics seemingly at random. For all of that, he is a friendly (if somewhat of a jackass) fellow.

So, yeah. I've had a "cubi Jay" character for a long time (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4382306/), but he was overdue for a redesign. And thanks to Lilchu, he has one now! Thanks, chu! This is great! I kind of wanted to play off of both typical Cubi and the different versions of Jay, so this version isn't good at magic but is good at physical fighting. Also, the choice of Clan Dimanika seemed obvious, since as my friends and family can attest, I tend to be somewhat… confusing. ;)

PS: Before anyone accuses me of ripping off Dan's costume, while I did reuse Ren's open shirt/tunic design, the color scheme is entirely Chu's choice.

PPS: Also, I just realized that Chu gave Cubi Jay brown eyes. That's another useful thing to differentiate him from the other versions of Jay (the lack of glasses and goatee are other design choices).
