I like it a lot! Comparing it to even my previous picture in terms of lineart is like night and day! I still have to fix some of the hotkeys and Photoshop does something SAI doesn't do - or at least not easily - but for the lineart and coloring alone, SAI is an AMAZING choice, and I'm glad I switched!

OK, cool, thanks! I'm still wondering if I should invest in it; pretty much everyone seems to like it, but I've not gotten the hang of tablets yet.

Maybe get the hang of tablets first would be my recommendation, but I don't think you'll be disappointed.

That's a good recommendation. :) Any advice on how to best go about that? I've only briefly tried my Bamboo; I'm finding it highly unnatural to have to hover the pen instead of letting it rest on the tablet's surface.

I honestly can't recommend the Monoprice tablet enough! It's every bit on par with Wacom's upper echelon tablets, and it's a fraction of the price. You might even find it cheaper than a Wacom Bamboo Pen, which is the tablet I started on.

That being said, if you would like to buy MY Wacom Bamboo, please feel free to shoot me a note and maybe we can work out some kind of arrangement. It shows like scuffs on the tablet surface, but it still functions well enough and I could probably sell it to you for maybe like 20-30 dollars if you wanted.

Again, those are totally your calls. A Bamboo Fun or Bamboo Pen are really good tablets for starting out if you can catch them at a good price. But if you want something super accurate that also won't break the bank for you (and might actually be LESS expensive brand new than a new Bamboo), go for the Monoprice every time.

Oh, I already have a Bamboo; I don't need another one. But thanks for the offer.
