The guys at the NMI boards loved the "Observational Humor" strips so much, I KNEW I'd have to do more (besides, they take about an hour max per strip, not a really big commitment of time for me)...problem is, if I just did the same type of joke over again, well, it just wouldn't be me, y'know?
So, once again, I went to the bios for ideas...this time, to the bio of Zuki's foster "sister/father," GIGI. In it, I mention that GIGI occasionally lays eggs that hatch into little 2'-tall "clones" of her, dubbed the "Mini-Gi's" (the "Oompa-Loompa lizards" mentioned in the strip), and I got to wondering: what would happen if Humanity-Biotechnics subjected a Mini-Gi to the same process that created Zuki?
Besides, I couldn't resist tweaking with the running gag about whether GIGI is or isn't a hermaphrodite...I didn't realize until afterwards how close the joke hewed to "The Spy Who Shagged Me," though. Oh, well, it WAS the best movie of the series...
