I think the (accidental?) second set of lines is a nice touch. If you hadn't mentioned the thing with the back button, it's likely that most people would've taken it as a nice sketch-like approach; looks really stylish. Also bandwagoning that this guy is incredibly cute. The little, rounded tusks are great, and the thick eyebrows are very expressive.
