Also Pyrite is the same speices (different sub-species) of the Sirenidae, (spysnake) that Bane now keeps as a pet herself. Pyrite was bred to be more showy, It is fatter and covered in fur instead of slimy thin like its distant cousin Agent 229. The irony here is that it probably makes for a better spy in this case because Pyrite stands a better chance of being mistaken for a rat at a distance.
