Hand made Sonic the Hedgehog voodoo doll key chains.
Standing at about 2 1/2 inches tall [not including ears or quills].
Posted in order of completion [hence why Shadow's quills look pretty dumb].
NOT PICTURED: Tails [I can't find the little bastard in my mess of a room D:]
Materials used:
-Various voodoo dolls from a quarter machine
-Colored felt
-Embroidery floss for embellishments
-Black beads
-Hot glue gun
Artist Commentary:
I got the inspiration to do these after going to the Monrovia street fair one Friday, and seeing a booth with a zillion little custom made voodoo dolls featuring main characters from movies, tv shows, cartoons, and even comic books. After searching through the pile, I found the perfect one for me: the jig saw doll from the Saw series. When I brought him home, I realized how simple it would be to customize your own dolls with a bit of felt and glue-and then this little project was born! And, who else would I start this project off with? Shadow of course! Though, after I made him, I decided to make the quills on Sonic with felt, since styling the embroidery floss was so hard to style-MUCH BETTER RESULTS! [I might even rip out Shadow's quills, and make him new ones out of felt]
In anycase, I hope you guy's enjoy my little fan made craft <3
Just so you know, I actually made two of the aliens from Alp as well-SO... if you want to see your own character made, I might be able to help you out for a small fee... :3

I'm thinking I would like to experiment with using paint for some details... Would that be fine if I do it on your character? See how it comes out? If it's god awful looking I can send him to you no charge.
