feels like i've been waiting ages for this moment! i've finally gotten my act together and become technically skilled enough to attempt a full, proper fursuit. i'm going to do a pokemon because they have simple, recognizable designs and because then i can reasonably wear it to anime/sci-fi cons. so! HOUNDOUR. his name is sam. (if you're familiar with njal's saga he's named after the dog that can instinctively recognize friend from foe.)

i'm considering the possibility of giving him some kind of recognizable feature so he's a specific character in addition to being a pokemon, but have no ideas so far! he'll have a collar and his name will be on his tag, so there is that, but maybe it would be nice to have something else too?

also, i don't think he'll be a talking suit, so maybe i should have some kind of prop? taking suggestions for that too, haha.

anything spring to mind for design features/props? :3 i'm beginning construction on him this weekend once i can get out to the store to buy some foam and like six rolls of duct tape for my dtd, but really i can make any changes to his design until he's actually done and made!
