I got lucky and did an internship at a rehab center after I went to school to school for my AAS in Natural Resources and they hired me on as a rehabber.
I was laid off due to the economy sucking but I still go back and volunteer a few times a week. i'm going back to school to get my Bachelors in Biology.
I also still have my rehab license though and I can write the hours I volunteer off on my taxes since it's a non-profit.
