I remember those days playing Zelda or Meteoid. I miss them too u.u

It's funny how adult used to tell me to enjoy being young and now that i'm an adult I crave nothing more then tog o back...

Right! You spend so much time waiting to be an adult then time flies and then you are one, and its not as cool as you thought it was going to be.
I now find myself telling kids that whenever they talk about being "grown up" lol.

Same old tradition is gonna repeat itself... maybe kids will listen this time??.... Nah

I feel ya on that one mate; adult life is so dull and hard and full of worries. But, one thing that allieviates this burden, as funny as it may sound, is the furry community. Most of use here have not completely grew up to be the modern day zombies society so loves to enslave, but rather, we keep to our worlds of fantasy where magic does exist. I myself have vowed never to have my eyes become cold and dead inside, something I see far too much of in the adults of the world.

I completely agree actually. This past year being active in the fandom has really helped me through a lot of crappy times.

Nicely put by the way. A lot of people in the fandom still remember how to have fun, even if they might be going through the same troubles, it really has become a safe haven for many, including myself.

That is one of the reasons I am a furry, aside from others. Why let myself fall into place ina monochrome puzzle with a monotone thud? Why not love my life in a vivid slur of colors and hues, notes and melodies? Life is too short to give up and allow the magic inside you to wither into nothingness, capitalism, and slavery. I want to spend what time I do have laughing with friends, gaming, making music, surfing, whatever you will. I am myself and myself is me, I am the product ostracized by society, I am alive.

One must carve their own path in the world. The more "you" you actually are the more pleasant the journey. The fandom has definitely given me a new route to express myself freely as well, and thats been really awesome, because being able to express yourself freely being you closer to who you truly are ^^.
What you said reminds me a lot of what i have tattooed on my chest as a bit of a tribute to being alive.

Amen to that. People spend too much trying to mask who they are and live within the chains set forth by society that they not only forget who they are, but no longer remember what it truly means to live. It's very sad.
