Comish - Well, Hello There

Gradient-shaded comish for
UmbraAeternam of the spiffy squid-dragon-spiffy-blue-dude, Baal Rasha. :D
Had the pleasure of doing this guy in a cell shaded piece before - I really enjoyed this piece, as for one, it was more detailed, and two, I think it shows more of his personality.
Prime requested him to be laying down, his clothing torn to show his body underneath. Just pretend that that thing he's resting on his black velvet, because I really wasn't focusing on that shading-wise, lol.
Nurr, reflective light for the win! I think I may have made it too bright...but I'm really trying hard to pay more attention to forms and light...it's tricky, especially for...dragons and things. And when there's not a 'definitive background,' but the colours in this one really lent it to some cool light tricks.
But I digress.

Same angle, same basic pose. Had to make it more dragon-y for Baal here, and also the feet and tail... And I wanted to prop him up a bit more to show more of his body and to also make it more aggressive/provocative, energetic, that's the word. Like he's watching you rather than just waking up and getting caught off guard, lololol.
