Actually, and I'm an eternal virgin for being able to point this out, but Mumm Ra's lair is within the Black Pyramid (this scene you have drawn is from episode #2). Castle Plundarr was built for the mutants by the Brutemen the mutants had (briefly) enslaved (episode #4: The Slaves Of Castle Plun-Darr). It's easy to confuse them since Mumm Ra wields the Sword of Plundarr much later on (ThunderCubs Part III is the episode he first gets his hands on it).
