This is why I bought a color laser, it costs a lot more, but my toner carts lasted five years before they needed refilling. They probably would have lasted a bit less with stuff like this, but I did print a lot of full page photos too...
Sadly, doing the math, it is still cheaper to buy a new printer than to replace all the expendables...
