The ribs are 9 little pieces put below the soundboard. They are glued, then carved in a nice way.
They're here to make the soundboard more resilient to deformation.

Gluing everything was very long, because we had to apply a lot of weight and pressure : we could only glue one or two ribs at a time and we had to wait 12 hours before moving on and glue the rest.
