I do miss a lot of the G1 ponies myself :) that's why I decided to start sculpting some of them when I can.. Such as sweet little Posey here ^_^..
I think next I may try to make Fizzy, Quackers, FireFly & Medly... and a few other of my favorites. I need to pick up some little gems for Fizzy and Quackers (i think that was her name)'s Eyes as they were Gem eye ponies.
