I now have much more respect for the artists that draw the backgrounds for the MLP cartoons. There are a lot of little details that go into the environments in the show; most of them probably don't get noticed by most who watch it.

This is the final of a piece commissioned by my brother. His favorite character from MLP is (obviously) Fluttershy, and he asked me to put together a picture of her. He essentially gave me free rein, saying "Surprise Me." Well, after about a week's worth of work, here is the finished product.

Though FS isn't my favorite character, I have always admired her gentle kindness that she shows to everyone (not just the animals). Of all of the characters in the show that I would recommend emulating, she is certainly high up on my list.
