For all of the times you stooped & touched my head, fed me my favorite treat & returned the love that I unconditionally gave to you. For the care that you gave to me so unselfishly, for all of these things I am grateful and thankful. I ask that you not grieve for the loss, but rejoice in the fact that we lived, loved and touched each others lives. My life was fuller because you were there, not as a master/owner, but as my FRIEND. Today I am as I was in my youth. The grass is always green, butterflies flit among the flowers & the Sun shines gently down on all of God's creatures. I can run, jump, play & do all the I did in my youth. without pain or regrets -- our love is forever, don't be sad!

Less then a month after putting Buckles to sleep her daughter Hissy followed behind her with the same condition of congestive heart failure. They were both 14 years old and had never been apart, Buckles gave birth to her when she was just 6 months old and they were constant companions from that moment on.They are now both free to romp and play in the fields and seasons breezes as they did in their youths.
RIP my little butterball [[1999 - May 2013]]
I had to put my beloved Buckles to sleep today she was 14 years old, fell to congestive heart failure. The fluid build up was to fast and she did not respond to treatment. So today she is set free from the labored breathing and the confused mews to mom asking me why she can't do what she used to do. Well now she is out playing in the sun and running through the fields behind our house where she grew up.

Tiffany we lost earlier this year she was 21 years old, we were forced to put her to sleep in January of this year when she suffered organ failure. She survived a house fire in 2006 with slight brain damage but that never slowed her down and she now has company playing tag in the spring grasses with Buckles. RIP little diamond in the rough ... [[1992 - January 2013]]
